Thames River Adventures Limited was established in March 2007. 

Share an experience and adventure with us unlike any other attraction in London. 

We provide you time to indulge in an urban metropolis whilst escaping the frantic City buzz, bringing you back to nature, wildlife and luscious leafy English countryside. 

Exploring London by kayak is a great opportunity to see a unique part of the City using a sustainable form of tourism by paddle powered craft leaving no carbon footprint.

Who are we? A team with a passion for the outdoors, who enjoy a more natural, eco-friendly lifestyle and enjoy being generally active.

How did we start off? It was Danny Gillard’s innovative idea. 
Danny is the quintessential New Zealander who naturally loves the outdoors and kayaking. He developed the idea with the support of his Irish wife, Niamh. They both have a passion for the concept believing it to be completely unique.

Danny and Niamh’s background is in Health and Safety Management for over 10 years.  

Sue Doel, with a wealth of over 15 years IT, administrative and sales experience joined in 2008 and is the Sales Manager. 

We have a team of British Union Qualified Instructors with a wealth of experience.

Our ethos is to stay active, enjoy nature, peace and tranquillity even in a busy urban environment.
