Thames River Adventures Ltd can accommodate family groups of 4, parents and children.
The minimum age for children kayaking is 9 years old.
All tours are approximately 2 hours in duration and the lunchtime paddles available at Hampton Court allow you time to stop for lunch either at a pub (not included) or time to enjoy a picnic in the scenic parks nearby.
Price: £199 for family in total for a tour at Hampton Court.

Multi-Day Tours 
We are able to accommodate tours outside London which can be tailor-made.  If you have an idea of where you would like to go, we can accommodate your request and design a tour suitable to your needs.
A reasonable level of fitness is required for the more extensive tours.

     
Two Day Tour - We suggest Windsor to Putney.  If you prefer an alternative location, please email us your request. 

The proposed outline is:
Saturday : meet at 10 am at Windsor for the introduction, safety briefing and allocation of your equipment.  Saturdays paddle takes us through three locks, and past various pubs and restaurants and luscious green English countryside.  The distance to the campsite at Chertsey is 11 miles. 

Sunday  : start at 8am for the 13 miles paddle  to Teddington, arriving for lunch around12.00 midday.We need to be leaving Teddington about 1pm to make the tide which will take us the 10 miles to Putney arriving about 4.30pm.
Total distance: 34 miles.
During the Saturday and Sunday, there will be ample time to stop and relax for drinks and lunch.

For a Four Day Tour we offer Oxford to Windsor. We recommend previous kayaking is necessary for this multi-day tour with a good level of fitness.

Accomodation can be discussed with us for all of these tours. We can advise recommendations of B&B's, guesthouses or campsites along the routes.
For delivery of camping equipment to Campsites instead of carrying your gear on your Kayak there is an extra charge of £10 per day for the service.

All these tours require a minimum of 4 people.

Hen or Stag Tours
Hens and Stag parties are very welcome on Thames River Adventure Tours and are very popular.
Party attire is encouraged and welcomed, however, nothing bulky!
We accommodate groups of 6-12 people for Hen/Stag parties.
We offer these at Hampton Court  and other locations upon request.

It is a gentle fun paddle enabling you to see London from a unique angle.
 
These Tours are available 7 days a week at various times see the Booking Calendar.  Special requests can be emailed to us.

All our tours are guided by a British Canoe Union Instructor throughout who provides a safety briefing initially, allocation of equipment and an introduction to basic kayaking skills before being fitted to the kayaks and launching into the water.
 
All necessary equipment is provided including recreational touring kayaks. If you choose to bring a picnic there is ample storage space in the kayaks to carry items in the water proof holds so we can stop at one of the many parks along the river enjoying the English Countryside.
