Thames River Adventures Ltd is licensed with British Waterways.

Payment and Refund Policy
All prices are given in UK pounds sterling (£UK) as quoted on our website and via our booking office.

Tours
Please arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to the departure time of your booked tour. 

Weather
As we have not guaranteed sunshine in the UK or even blue skies from March to October we recommend that you check the weather report prior to your Tour on: http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/8 for weather in the London area. We will always go out when it is light rain. If you require further information on the weather, please contact our mobile number on +44 (0) 7773720860.

Smoking
Smoking, is NOT permitted on the Kayaks. 

Water
We  recommend that you bring a bottle of water on all Tours.

Children
An adult must accompany children under twelve years. All children must be a minimum of 9 years old.

Lost Property
Whilst every effort is made to return lost property, Thames River Adventures Ltd cannot be held responsible for property left on/in the kayaks. Property found must be collected from our offices at 32 Whitmore Close. N11 1PB.UK.

Cancellation Policy
If a Tour is cancelled by the customer with less than 48 hours notice no refund will be given. 48 hours notice must be given if a customer is postponing a Tour, we cannot postpone Tours with less than 48 hours notice.

We urge you to treat a Tour with Thames River Adventures Ltd as you would catch a flight. If you are late we are rarely able to reschedule your tour.  This is because all our tours are pre-booked and organised to run at the specified time in order to start the next tour.

We know this leads to disappointment which is why we urge you to arrive 15 minutes ahead of your booked Tour and make the most of the unique experience.

Refund Policy
Refunds are only permitted for the following reasons:
If for any reason Thames River Adventures cancels the trip a full refund will be given.
The Tour will be honoured for 12 months if poor weather conditions are present on the day of the booked Tour.

For all booked Tours, a 10% deposit is non-refundable for adminstration purposes.

General Conditions
We may at our discretion, require any person to withdraw from any tour if we deem their behaviour offensive, a nuisance or if they are a health and safety risk to themselves or fellow participant. We shall have no further liability.

All customers/particpants paddling on Thames River Adventures Ltd Tours must inform us if they have a health condition that may impact on their ability to paddle a kayak.
 
All matters concerning this booking shall be subject to English Law.

What are the golden rules of Kayaking?

• Don’t right a capsized kayak. Hang on to it.
• Don’t move away from the group alone
• Do keep away from weirs.
• Do ask about local conditions – tides, currents and weather conditions.
• Keep well clear of other water users; keep right of all other craft.
• No play-acting in the Kayaks
• If under the influence of a lot of alcohol, kayaking will not be permitted.
• No chewing gum on kayaks
• All personal rubbish to be disposed of by the customer/client
• Always follow your Instructor’s Instructions
