La Jolla Cove is our private favorite, with verdant grass that leads to craggy cliffs, but there’s so much extra to do on this SoCal city. Wander the 15 (!) museums on the 1,200-acre Balboa Park, hike to the lagoon at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, and feast on a variety of the finest Mexican meals north of the border at Lucha Libre Gourmet Taco Shop . But generally one of the best we are able to do is a restorative two-night weekend journey to someplace fantastic.
Small Town Getaways
Burleigh has a spread of nice locations to eat in addition to locations to stay. You’ll discover everything here, from super cheap old school models to fashionable fancy apartments. The Burleigh Heads National Park is a great spot to stroll and from right here, you’ll enjoy some fantastic ocean views. You may even walk all the way round to beautiful Tallebudgera Creek. Bushing strolling is the main exercise here, with several different trails to select from. It’s also the perfect place for recognizing wildlife, together with a number of species of birds, wallabies and more.
The Good Outside: 9 Unsung National Parks
You can sit exterior on the later brewery and enjoy the solar throughout one of many shorter weekend vacations from Seattle. If you want to get away from the cold in the course of the winter months then head south to Marco Island, Florida. Marco Island is a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico off Southwest Florida and is linked to the mainland by bridges south of the city of Naples.
