It’s one of the largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi, with Niagara being the biggest. During spring, greater than 50,000 gallons of water drop each second through the Upper Falls; that translates to a low rumble in the parking zone and thundering roar as you attain path’s end. Four miles downstream is the Lower Tahquamenon Falls which is cut up into two halves with each more than a hundred toes wide and 22 toes tall. The state park also presents some of the best camping in the state, notable for both wildlife sightings and the on-site brewpub and restaurant.
Mclean Falls
All learning displays in the visitor middle are wheelchair- accessible, and the deck area has a bench for resting. The park has an accessible picnic shelter in the lower picnic area, an accessible fishing pier, six accessible campsites within the C loop, one accessible group campsite and one accessible trip cabin. These pinnacles are the remains of one of many oldest mountain ranges in the japanese United States. The auditorium, lecture rooms, drive-to campsite 14, the picnic shelter and a one-third mile trail are wheelchair-accessible.
